All works published on The Affectivist Project—including images, text, and visual media—are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of the original artists or authors unless otherwise noted.

Upon acceptance, artists grant The Affectivist Project the non-exclusive right to publish their work in the following formats:

• A single online issue

• Across our social media platforms (such as Instagram) for promotional and editorial purposes

• A downloadable EPUB version

• A print edition (when applicable)

• Future retrospective editions or compilations

After publication, all rights revert to the artist or author. Artists may republish their work elsewhere at any time. We ask that credit be given to The Affectivist Project as the original place of publication, when applicable.

If a third party wishes to reprint, repost, or redistribute any work featured in The Affectivist Project, they must obtain direct permission from the original creator. The Affectivist Project cannot grant reprint rights on behalf of contributors.

The design, layout, name, and branding of The Affectivist Project are the intellectual property of the platform and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
