SUBMISSION AGREEMENT FORM:

By submitting your work to The Affectivist Project, you (“Author”) agree to the following terms:

1. Rights & Usage

• The Author grants The Affectivist Project non-exclusive rights to publish, distribute, and share the work in any format, worldwide, in English.

• The Author retains full copyright ownership.

2. Digital Publication

The Affectivist Project has the non-exclusive right to publish the work online and in digital formats for promotional purposes only, unless otherwise agreed upon.

• These rights last three (3) years from the submission date and renew annually unless either party chooses to terminate.

3. Author’s Warranties

• The Author confirms they own the work and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, privacy, trademark, defamation).

The Affectivist Project is not obligated to publish any work that may violate these rights.

4. Editorial Integrity

The Affectivist Project will not alter the textual content without the Author’s permission.

• The Author will always receive byline credit.

5. Author Information

• A biography or creative statement may be included, with minor edits for clarity and fit.

The Affectivist Project reserves the right to omit bios or creative statements if not submitted correctly.

6. Corrections & Revisions

• If changes are needed, the Author must withdraw the original submission and submit a revised version.

The Affectivist Project will correct any errors on its end upon notification.

7. Rights Retention

• Any rights not explicitly granted to The Affectivist Project remain fully with the Author.

NOTICE:

• If a submission contains plagiarism or other disqualifying factors, it may be revoked even after acceptance, and the author may be ineligible for future submissions.

• The application fee is non-refundable, regardless of the open call results.

• There are no additional fees beyond the application fee upon selection.

• Accepted artists must provide any additional requested materials, including high-resolution files if needed.
